WORLD BUDDHIST RELIGIOUS ASSOCIATION
Promoting the peace and prosperity of the people and community following a Buddhist Philosophy which emphasis on the selfless service towards community, development and human welfare.

WELCOME TO WORLD BUDDHIST RELIGIOUS ASSOCIATION
The World Buddhist Religious Association (WBRA) was established on May 27, 2002, as a non-profit and non-political social development organization. The organization was inspired by the philanthropic ideals of Nun (Yogini) Bhim Suwa Gurung, who has dedicated her life to serving people following the Buddha’s path. Moved by her example, a team of like-minded individuals was formed, and the concept of institutionalized service was conceived.
Our mission is to foster peace and prosperity within the community, guided by the principles of Buddhist philosophy. This philosophy emphasizes selfless service to the community, fostering development and ensuring the well-being of all. We are led by a multidisciplinary team that unwaveringly contributes to the creation of a peaceful and prosperous society.

Messege from "Aani Bhim Suwa Gurung-Founder"
Having spent more than twenty years in the realm of Buddhism serving society as a nun, I was delighted to initiate the World Buddhist Religious Association and begin another chapter of service to human beings. During my visits and talks with revered Gurus from Thailand, China, and Nepal, I have been inspired to serve more institutionally. With this in mind, we decided to start an organization where the wishes of Gurus and Buddha’s spirit can be manifested in tangible actions and activities.
I would like to express my unwavering commitment to establishing the Buddhist Center, which encompasses the Meditation Center for the Elderly, the hospital, the Tallest Buddha’s Stupa, and other similar structures. Similarly, our commitment extends to the establishment of a transparent operating system that ensures the efficient and responsible utilization of all funds. On behalf of the World Buddhist Religious Association, I would like to solicit the support of all Gurus, organizations, and individuals in this noble endeavor, as we strive to effect genuine positive change for those in need. We are pleased to announce that we have secured land in an attractive location near Kathmandu for the construction of the Meditation Center and Monastery.
Your inquiries, suggestions, and emails are of paramount importance to us and will be responded to with the utmost respect.
